MBA from the IESE Business School in Spain.
Seventeen years of investment management experience in South Asia including with Elliott Associates ($22 billion hedge fund) and M3 Investments. Invested more than $270 million in private investments and $600 million in public markets. Has invested in Sri Lanka since 2009.
Professor and Executive Director of the Centre for Emerging Markets Solutions at the Indian School of Business, and visiting fellow at the Stern School at NYU. Named to Wired’s Smart List 2012, WEF Young Global Leader in 2009. Serves on several boards including Soros Economic Development Fund, Unicredit Bank, and TED Fellows. Co-founded two companies in the 90s; instrumental in raising the SONG Fund in 2008. M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Columbia University.
